Client: Baker Barrios Architects
Industry Segment: Education
Project description: Daytona State College expanded its campus by adding two new buildings and redeveloping several others. The plans included changing two existing one story classroom buildings into a maintenance facility, building a new 11,700 square foot administration building, and building the FSU Joint-Use Medical Building.
Service provided: Stormwater, site design, parking access, water and sewer services, and permitting with multiple agencies.
Interesting fact: The site plan had to be carefully crafted to work around existing buildings and infrastructure, including the demolition of part of an existing building and re-routing of existing water and sewer utilities.
