Daytona State College - Multiple Building Expansion
Client: Baker Barrios Architects
Industry Segment: Education
Project description: The state college was expanding it's campus by adding two new buildings and redeveloping others. The plans included changing two existing one story classroom buildings into a maintenance facility, building a new 11,700 SF administration building and building the FSU Joint-Use Medical Building.
Service provided: Stormwater; site design; parking access; water and sewer sevices; and permitting with multiple agencies.
Interesting fact: The FSU site plan had to be carefully crafted to work around existing buildings and infrastructure, including the demolition of part of an existing building and re-routing of existing water and sewer utilities.
